My friend made the costume and I made the coating, paint job, teeth, eyes et details on the sword.It's a share work of fans.Garo is a serie I really like!

how the devil did you get so good at making these incredible costumes and how much money does each one cost to make.
this looks absolutely amazing with all the detail and craftsmanship and i am a little curious as to how you see out of it
how are you getting the paint to stay on the costume and lastly how did you make the helmet
i think that is all i was going to say but none the less this is a great piece of work

I was very glad to read your comment, I will try to answer with my bad english *cough*
Kiba was made by my friend, I " only" made the coating, paint job, details on sword, teeth and eyes in resin.
The price of foam is different if it's 0.4, 0.6 mm on this costume, there are 3 types on foam, so Kiba is one of the most expansive costume we made, I can say around 200 euros.
The lawest prices are for painting.
Usually, a costume cost around 80-100 euro.
But Kiba was a sort of dream for us because we like the serie of Garo very much!
For us, it's not a random costume but a work of fans ^^
I paint each piece separately and I made an assembly in order to check if the paint was correct on the full costume.
Painting is not very long, I worked with the figure near of me in order to have the same result.
The helmet is always the most difficult part on a costume :/ it took 3 weeks only for made it!
There is a base in paper, after, we use the paper as a pattern on the foam, we cut, assembly and made corrections.
After, we include teeth, eyes.

J'aimerais faire un casque de Garo, mais la tâche m'effraie...

Oué j'ai vu, j'ai hâte de voir ce que ça donnera, le trailer fait envie! Les casques, c'est ce qu'il y a de plus dur malheureusement, et si le casque est mal fait, le costume suit pas :/ à chaque fois, c'est notre plus grosse crainte " foirer le casque".
