I may move this to scraps later... this was the original colour scheme i was playing with for the Joshua Warskin by mikecharles [link]i dont mind it but i think i like the darker version.
oh and i tried playing with what you said Rob about gold etc.

I think I like the darker one but this one's not bad either. And for some reason, the shoulders remind me of the Gerbera Tetra [link] . ^^

actually this color scheme works better since the story is similar to a space opera. but i like both schemes.

yeah i remember saying something about colours to robcavanna about his choice of colours and he said something about them being more about looking like knights and champions who were decorated a little more than a usual military machine.
so when i started i thought the gold might compliment it. i just happen to change direction right at the end and send it into a dark colour

yea, and its not too ornate, its just gold colour that imho suits him better then the grayish/green colour.

i guess theres a fair difference between the whole military mass produced style versus a one of a kind, champion of an army style colour scheme. both have their places
