This is my favorite so far of these outfits and maybe the last photo I have to upload until SakuraCon! I know Riku's shoes are not his actual shoes, I am still constructing them and having to do a little subtle modding to mine.
Today Japan is having the 10th anniversary release party. I wish I could be there so bad. I cannot believe I have been into this game series for 10 years. Time flies.

Did you ever think of doing a sort of . . .Sora and Riku cosplay tutorial? To get the rest of us started? I've always wanted to cosplay DDD Sora but I'm kinda a cosplay newbie, so . . .yeah . .

I never thought of making a tutorial. It's hard because I make all my patterns myself and taught myself to sew. I am not very skilled hahah. ^^

Well, there's just a question I have about DDD Sora . . .cuz my little bro is cosplaying him for a convention in a few months . . . Is it hard to make? I mean, I usually make cosplays from scrap, but I'll probably have to consider modifying clothes for this cosplay . . .for the jacket, anyway. I'll try make the pants and shirt and stuff . . . XD
So I guess what I'm asking is . . .
If you had to rate the difficulty of the Sora cosplay from KH: 3D, what would you rate it out of 10?
And do you mind if I DA you with any cosplay inquiries in the future?

I started out modifying clothes so I think that would work just fine! It wasn't too hard to Make Sora because I have done several versions of Sora before so the shape and everything is easy for me. Difficulty would probably be a 7. I think it is only hard because of all the color and line changes! Other than that it is simple~
And please! Ask away if you ever need any help and I will try my best.

KH1 Sora is more of a 5/6. KH2 Sora is a 7/8 (due to the armor), Twilight Town Roxas is a good 6.
And yes I did make the Dream Eaters myself too. ^^
The way I made Wonder Meow was he was drawn out on a patter. I really looked at the real plushie that will be sold and just drew the pieces and had to alter them a bit when I put them together. It's almost like drawing the 3D pieces 2D. Bat Bat was a styrofoam ball wrapped in a tiny feather boa and then I did all the eyes and wings out of felt. ^^ It's harder to explain those things but all I really think about is the shape and drawing them to scale and different pieces.

Org Roxas is a bit difficult. Maybe a 7-8. If you want to make the coat super accurate it is sort of a challenge. Not TOO bad (since I have made 3 coats)~ <3

Sure I would love to see!
If you make the coats, I suggest pleather. It'll give it the look of leather and will have a shine. NOT the super shiny pleather, but the stronger kind. If you want to start out with any black regular fabric, I say go for it! Pleather is sort of hard to work with and you need a strong strong needle.
