I did Metallo last winter and decided to sell my custom one in place of a more animated version that fits the rest of the figures on my DCSH shelf. He was made out of a Superman returns Metallo figure with a new paint job and added articulation.Related content

Yeah when you have your power sourse open for all to see, remove, destroy, and well do what they want to it when their NOT affected by the stuff is kind of a bad design decision. In the Superman Animated series, the second coming of Metallo saw him getting in Intergang upgrade that included a 360 degree rotating head with a kryptonite radiation blaster in the mouth. You know, for those times when Superman ISN'T in front of you and or gets the drop on you. A better option for sure because when you can pipe that radiation where you need it instead of relying just the natural effects of it radiating out really allow you to have more options and protect your power source better.
I mean when a lead plate or correctly sized hammer can render your "ace in the hole" null in void that's not much of a villain/power. That only means you have a worst weakness than Superman's.
