So I absolutely ADORE "Welcome to Night Vale"... check it out on iTunes, it's a free podcast and it's absolutely lovely.

So Cecil, the main character, is left more or less without description outside of "not tall, not short... not fat, not thin..."... the fandom therefore loves making up their own headcanons. So I did mine!

Here is Cecil. He is not ugly, but he's not exactly hot either. He's got a bit of a "radio face". He rarely sits up straight. Radio doesn't make the big bucks so he's had the same pair of broken glasses since high school. He has tattoos and in the spirit of the oddities of Night Vale the tattoos are a bit strange - they move and Cecil has no control over them... but he's used to it*. He's half Asian half Native American but rarely mentions his background without being asked. His fashion sense is a little mismatched but hardly purposefully weird. He's balding at a relatively young age and wishes he had long glorious hair (thus his obsession with Carlos' perfect hair).

So yes. this is my Cecil. Welcome to Night Vale.

(*I liked the idea of tattoos that change and move around at random... both because it's fun and because it means I can be artistically lazy with making sure tattoos on a character match from picture to picture )
