'oh man. Oh man. Oh man. Who's gonna pick me? I really hope it isn't someone weird! Or him! Especially him! Wait, why worry about him? He isn't here. I don't see him. Y-Yeah. H-He's probably too busy with his weapons.'

"SOLD~! For 1- . .1000 dollars! Well, thank you Mr. Ampora!"

'Ampora! Are you serious!' Ohhhhhh reader-chan. You got stuck with fish-face. Weeeeell, I woooould say sorry. Ya know, if he wasn't your flush crush and all.

"Looks like we've saved the art shop! Thank you all so much! But, we will still hold the auction for the other two. So, who wants our little fox?" Jess announced, Foxy stepping up to the stage. Her tail was between her legs, and she seemed nervous. You've never seen her like this before. She was so excited a little bit ago. You have to help her.

"Foxy!" You call out, so that no one will hear but her and maybe Noah. She turns back to you and Noah, you give her a double thumbs up. Noah notices and gives a third thumbs up. Foxy smiles a bit and sighs, turning back to the crowd.

"Sold! Thank you Kanaya, please be nice to our little fox." At the mention of Kanaya, Foxy perks up. She looks down at her and she smiles up at her. Foxy's tail wags and she jumps down into the arms of Kanaya, who wasn't expecting it and ending up falling, Foxy following. Kanaya stood up, brushed off her skirt, and offered Foxy a hand and helped her up. They then proceeded to interlock arms and walk away, but not before Foxy turned around and gave you one last thumbs up with a toothy grin.

"Hey! Are glubbin' coming or wwhat?" You jump and look over to see Eridan, a frown on his princely face as he looks at you over his shoulder, starting to walk away. You se his hand over his shoulder, signaling for you to follow. It takes you a moment to comprehend the situation and when you do you jump down from the stage to catch up with him.

~~~~~~~~~~(Foxy walks by with Kanaya, Foxy's tail fluffs up as it swishes to change the scene)~~~~~~~~~~

"So, what is it you want me to do Er?" You said, sitting on a chair in Eridan's room, him sitting across from you on his bed.

"Wwell, first of all, don't call me 'Er', second-"

"Why not?" You interrupted. Eridan frowned again and sighed.

"Just don't. Please?"

"Fine. I guess I don't have too."

"Can I go on noww?"

"Yeah sure."

"Thanks. Noww, I spent 1000 dollars on you, so you can't be disappointin' me now, or i'll take my money back."

"I got ya. But what is it that I'm not supposed to disappoint you with?"

"Wwell. . ." You made a circular motion with your hand, signaling for him to go on. He looked away, a royal violet blush creeping onto his cheeks.

"I. . .I need some help. . .with quadrants." Your eyes went a bit wide, but then you realized, something like this was likely, so they stayed normal.

"Okay, what quadrant?" You asked, crossing your arms and leaning back in your chair.

"The red one." The blush on his cheeks darkened a bit and a slight one crept onto your cheeks. You sighed.

"Who is it now?" You asked, closing your eyes.

"That, I can't tell ya. I just wwanna knoww some like. . .tips on gettin' her ta like me and stuff. I reelly wwanna ask her out, but I got no idea on howw to do it. And Kar isn't wwillin' to help me because he's busy with his owwn girl." Awww. He sounds so desperate. Despite the aching in your heart, you decided to help him the best you can.

"Well when do you plan on asking her out?" You sat up, opeing your eyes and staring at him. He seemed to look down a bit, as if not wanting to say.

"Tonight."

"Tonight! Well come on man! We better get going!" You stood up quickly, grabbing Eridan's hand and dragging him out the door. If he would be happy with another girl, then that would make you happy enough.

"Are you shore about this?"

"Absolutely!" You had dragged Eridan to a flower shop, and he was currently staring at it as if something would jump out at him.

"Alright then. Come one _____." Eridan grabbed your hand this time, and a blush bursted onto you're cheeks, but the thought of why you were here dragged it back down. You guys walked into the flower shop together, you started leading once inside. You worked here part-time for awhile, so you knew where everything was. You dragged him to an area that looked like a little pond scene. There was an indoor pond, lily pads and water lilies spread across the water, some cattails near the edge on the other side. Eridan looked amazed at the simple scene, but you could tell he loved it so much more with the smile on his face. You smirked a bit before walking him over to the side of the pond.

Seeing as this was Eridan, you guessed the girl was Feferi and that he just didn't want you to know he was trying again even after he failed. So you knew he would need water lilies. Plus, they were your favorites too. You picked up a single royal fuchsia flower and handed it to Eridan. You gave him a fake smile as he took it into his own hands. You didn't notice the slight disappointment in his face as you walked away. You needed to get away. Just for a bit.

"I need to go check something really quick, you can look over the flowers while i'm gone, but keep that one, it's for your girl." Eridan looked over the flowers, walking a little the opposite way of you. You then proceeded to leave, your arm reaching up to your eyes to wipe away the tears.

~~~~~~~~~~(Kanaya slices her chainsaw across the scene, splitting it in half as violet splats on the screen then drips away, changing the scene)~~~~~~~~~~

"Noww is this reelly necessary?" Eridan asked, stepping out of the changing room. After your little fit at the flower shop you dragged Eridan to a clothing shop. You figured that if he was going to try and impress Feferi, that you might as well try anything you can to make him seem better. At least, to others. You personally loved his hipster look. Well, enough of that. Right now you need to help him. Focus!

"Yes Eridan, we want to increase your chances as much as we can. And a I heard that a new outfit can boost you're confidence!" You walk up and stand beside him in the mirror, brushing out a few wrinkles in the outfit. He looked so dang handsome. You contemplate over an ass grab but decide against it. Not today. . . .FOCUS!

You stop staring at fish but long enough to straighten the front of the outfit and pat his shoulder.

"You'll get her for shore." You said, smiling at Eridan's reflection. Eridan turned and stretched, checking out his new attire. He chuckled a bit under his breath. He patted your head and smiled a little.

"Thanks _____." He walked off to pay for the new material, leaving you alone in front of the mirror. You looked at yourself. Your face dropped and you named off everything you thought was wrong. Every physical reason Eridan would never like you back. "No problem."

~~~~~~~~~~(Cronus rides by on Seahorse dad to a new scene)~~~~~~~~~~

"So where are you supposed to meet the lucky lady?" You asked. Eridan had taken the lead awhile back and you guys stopped at a fountain, the sun setting in the background so you figured it was time for him to meet his 'date'.

"Right here." Eridan said, stopping in front of the fountain and looking at the water. You walked up beside him and looked down, seeing your reflection next to his while he looked away almost made you cry again. You need to get out of there.

"Well I guess i'll be going then. Tell me how it goes." You turn and try to walk away, but he grabs your wrist. You turn back to him as he starts to take out the flower from earlier. The stupid fuchsia color taunted you.

"You thought I wwas goin' ta ask Fef out again didn't ya?" You looked up to see Eridan with a sad and disappointed look, more so than earlier. You really didn't want to admit it, but you looked away and shook your head. Eridan sighed and turned to the fountain. He then grabbed you around the waist with his free arm, pulling you up toward the water and beside him. He had on a poker face as he stared at the water lily in his hand, then at the water. He then threw the flower under the pouring water, crushing it under the pressure. You gasped and looked over at him.

"Why would you do that?!" He looked down at you, raised his free hand, and cradled the side of your face, slipping a (fave color) flower into your hair, not that you noticed. At least, not until he bent you over the water a bit to look at your reflection, to which you gasped, holding a hand up to the flower in your hair. You then stood straight and looked to Eridan for an answer.

"Fef already dumped me, and I knoww she isn't goin' to take me back no matta wwhat I do. But the thing is, I don't evven like her anymore. The 'lucky lady' we spoke about all day, . . ." He looked down at you, the smile returning, accompanied by a royal violet blush. "Wwas you."

"_____, I spent all that money on ya, hopin' that you wwould see howw much I think you're wworth. Obvviously though, you wwere too dense for that." He poked your forehead once, chuckling a bit. "Maybe evven a bit more dense than me."

"But evver since Fef dumped me that day, and you wwere the only one wwho wwould listen, I've. . .been flushin' for ya." You blushed deeply at this and his blush darkened. "And wwhen I bought ya today, I wanted to take you out on a date wwithout ya realizing'. Wwhen I asked ya for advice I wwas. . . .wwell I wwas kinda expectin' a practice date or somefin. But my tongue slipped and I said the date wwas today. Wwell shit, I'm just blubberin' awway noww. Anywways, _____, I'm flushed as red as a troll can flush for ya." He took out another flower, this one his royal violet blood color. "So, wwill ya do me the honor of bein' my matesprit?"

You honestly didn't know what to say. He pretty much just poured his heart out to you but he also said some thing that could be hilarious when commented on. But after comprehending the moment, you took the flower from him, clear tears streaming from your eyes down your face. This made Eridan panic until you started giggling, then jumped into him, latching onto him in a hug.

"Of course Eridan! Why didn't you ask me sooner?!" You nestled your head in the crook of his neck, and his arms wrapped around your waist, his head laying atop of yours.

"Cause I thought you'd nevver like me back. Heh, I actually used ta sit around and name off evverythin' wwrong wwith me, reasons you wwouldn't like me and such." You cried harder, squeezing him tighter.

"I did the same thing. Wwe reely are meant for each otha, aren' wwe?" You giggled mocking his accent. He smiled down at you, pulling you away from him for a moment, only to move one hand to the back of your head and pull it closer to his own. You got the idea and shut your eyes, moving your head on your own toward his.

Your lips met his in a gentle kiss. His lips were slightly chapped but tasted of the ocean, a bit salty but just perfect.

Looks like you finally got your prince.

All you needed was some hope.

A/N: WWhoo~! Endin' twwo is done! Man, I actually need to write at least 1 of these each day to meet a goal in another class I have, and we actually get points deducted if we don't accomplish the goal. I said i'd have 8 endings done by April 4. Darn my cockiness! I thought I could do it but I just sat my lazy ass around for a week, so now I only have a week, no less than a week left! URG!. *sigh* Oh well, it's good motivation. I might be able to change the amount of ending though. Maybe.
