Just something I whipped up after reading about the new Digimon game.OLDSCHOOL Agumon!!!
sweet fluffy-GOO I am going to get that game over Pokemon now.
So yea when I saw the design for the main characters I thought "Tai and Kari!" why? Cause my brain is just funky.

Word on Withthewill is there will be a new anime coming too...with the oldschool Agumon I can't help think a prequel to Adventure (or base some where around Adventure to Frontier time...erm gimme Adventure or 02...but Frontier would be good too.
)The background belongs to Bandai, I just cut a piece from it to make it match their outfits.

Same here. It makes the family resemblance so much more striking! I also thought it would make Kari a little tougher to read if her general look was less in line with her overall personality. Still love the character due to her biggest flaw being something that most people would never think of: that she cares too much sometimes. After all, it's the dose that makes the poison, as even something as vital to the body as iron can be deadly in the right quantities.

And in general I always thought it'd be sweet if Kari would try to copy Tai a little since she looked up to him so much and his first priority once she became part of the team was always her well being.

-Gag- The new playable characters look like total shit .-. Ughly..
But NEW ANIMU? That I'm looking forward to! (Though I've yet to totally finish Savers...xD) Er, I think a prequel to Adventure would be great. In one of the later episodes there was that whole reference to like "There were these other Digi-Destined, but they like went away and stuff." So they set the potential for that back in 01. But I always love anything Frontier related and wouldn't object to something on that end.
I just hope these guys come up with some interesting characters and don't go Pokemon on us.
Enough ranting about irrelevant shit. I'm in LOVE with Tai's hair (one of the reasons I don't draw the goggleheads is because their hair is freaking hard :3) and the clothes really seem to fit him for some reason. Is it just me though, or are Kari's eyebrows a tad too thick? Also, there's a little spot just below her belt where her body cuts off prematurely; it's like she's a floating torso. Otherwise, this is super inspiring :3 It says to me: I better finish Digimon World Dawn before the next game comes out...

Yea but the only thing we know about it is it *might* be called "Digimon: Around" (good luck I could only make it to ep3 of Savers before giving up) I think a prequel to Adventure would be great too, but it seems a bit late for it. Though I won't mind if it is, cause anything related to Adventure is good to me. 
Though it probably be too much to ask for some random Tai shots in it.
It could be for Ryo though he is suppose to be in Tamers' world now. It might be about his story and how he met Tai 'n the rest before going to Tamers.
Same though I haven't seen all of Frontier (hell I haven't seen all of 02.
I'll agree with you on the Pokemon thing. We only need one show that keeps their characters FOREVER, another might be weird.
