Very nice ^_^ ... you use 2 tablets? Is the Jtablet that old smaller one you had?

Damn ... I wanna get one of those LCD ones. They're so much cheaper then they used to be. Maybe next time I upgrade my computer because I couldn't justify it on this old shit-box. Still got the same one from back when I was dating you even if half the hard drives have died since.

mine cost $1700, i tried to get a new power box for it, but since hen moneys been tight so i couldnt afford the $50 for it go figure

Maybe you should start with a bamboo first. I still find intous is easier than cintiq (not lying)

Thats pretty expensive. How long did the original power box last for it? $50 tho ... guess money has been really tight. Hope things get better for you ^_^

I tried out a wacom identical to your little one today at work again and I still remember how to use it tho my hand isn't so steady as I haven't done much freehand drawing or writing recently. Have you used any of the new 'sculpting' programs like zbrush or mudbox? You should check out a youtube video of them. They're annoyingly hard to learn from a 3d background. They're designed to be learnt by people who are 'ro' at 2d such as you. Much easier for someone with photoshop training to pick up then with 3d studios training. Sorry, just venting frustration with them. They're actually considered 2.5d programs.

I will check out bamboo and cintiq at some point. Maybe some videos of how they work. Not sure.

The original power box was lost when I moved house, so it didnt get used.

My hand is shakey and I use a tablet every day so dont worry

I havent tried those sculping programs but id like to, they sound cool!

I think bamboo would suit you best

I have still yet to have looked into them >_<

Cheers for the advice tho. I personally prefer Mudbox over Zbrush because it seems more logical to me but I suspect Zbrush + a youtube tutorial + your tablet = win. Its more, 2d orientated and there is some amazing results. Just google zbrush and go image search and you'll see what I mean. Oh and you 'aint' textures in 3d too!
