I really want to do more of the chibi style, it makes me happier and its more fun to draw.

lol I see what you mean by making you happier and perhaps thats a good direction to go in with art. Just make the art that makes you happy and perhaps you'll progress faster. Maybe I should apply that to my work?

You should try oekaki, it is fun. You can do it many online places like oekakiboard or ratemydrawings.com - Oekaki is a drawing on a java/internet painting program. Some are good programs and work like photoshop - but more are difficult like MS paint!
WHen you have drawn your picture you can usually watch yourself draw it back in high speed - its awesome!
People on the board also give you help and advice.
