Description I have made this one for MAgic Myth , The theme of the month was Mythologie ...

As the Greek goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite holds great power over both mortals and immortals.While several legends of Aphrodite emphasize themes of love and desire, some of most compelling myths deal with the consequences that the goddess herself suffers as a result of being the victim of love.In this myth, the vulnerability of the goddess is poignant. This vulnerability points to the fact that in Greek mythology even the gods could suffer, and were certainly not immune to the pains and passions that we, as humans, experience.

absolutely beautiful! I really like this piece a lot the only suggestion I have is that you could smooth a small part out, with a blur filter...I mean the right side of the face where the hair shadow is, and on the top of the head on the right side of the part in the hair could use a little blur also, other than that, it is just perfect. I love it!

Interesting adaption on Aphrodite...the goddess you have here strikes me more as Diana, goddess of the grain, just because she looks more in tune with nature than with things like love. iono...good picture tho.

What are you talking about? This just shows that you cant possibly know anything about Greek/Roman mythology. Diana is NOT the goddess of the grain, that's Demeter. Diana is the Roman version of Artemis, goddess of the hunt. And she does look like Artemis, though...
