When did you praise me? "that looks just like a person."  Yes, it looks just like a person because I drew a person.  That comment is a statement and is not an opinion.  It is irony that you are a writer since writers should know how to avoid sending ambiguous messages better than average people.  The comment you just made doesn't help you with your poor sarcasm either.  It contains very basic grammar mistakes, and it makes me wonder if you can understand the points I am making.  In this situation, use "you're" instead of "your" for your future.
People usually say, "it looks just like a photo," unlike you.  Does it contain any content other than the statement?  Often yes, but only the person who used will know it. Because there is a possibility that this person is criticizing me for posting an edited photo and lying to people it is a drawing.  I try to respond to every comments.  That is why I used that smiling emoticon because it works in both situations.  If I were in your situation and had a feeling that this person is being rude to me, I would have checked the situation carefully first to make sure I understood it right; one way is checking my replies to other people.
I also take my time to look at everyone's deviations if they comment on my deviations or add my work to their favorites.  I read some of your writings, and I can't take those
writings seriously.  There are so many spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, and unorganized sentences.  Most of them contains your opinions and ideas reflecting your personality and characteristics, and they were already negative from my view from the start.  That is why your response wasn't surprising to me since I have learned about you, but I am surprised that you decide to actually tell your thought to me.
It seems that the reason you praise people is to get a good response.  Praise people without desiring to get one in return.  When you reach that point, that's when you truly care about other people.  Your actions shouldn't be influenced from your emotions.  They should come from your understanding (wisdom and intelligence).  For example, there is an emotion called love.  When you fall in love, you want to do kind things to that person.  But in reality, you are just fulfilling your desire to do so.  Without understanding, it is just a selfish act.  You can learn understanding from willing to know the situation, willing to think from different point of view, and willing throw away your desire.  Don't just do good things to other people desiring to get equal or greater thing in return.  I can see selfishness from it.

i'm not going to take the time to finish reading this, you see i'm very bad at essays, novels, spelling grammar, whatever, i'm a poet, if you wish to actually insult me then insult something i confidence in, i meant to compliment you, i do like your art but certainly, do not like you, read my poems, then i'll take the time to read you stupid rant.

Sheloize In reply to senpaiyin [2015-01-23 23:59:15 +0000 UTC]

I told you I read your poems.  Do you see what is the problem here?
If you actually read it, I was guiding you with important wisdom.  But you chose to completely ignore it and are doing the same mistakes again.
If you didn't finish reading it, you shouldn't have replied, because you didn't comprehend my intention.  I advised you to understand the situation first before acting, but you are just talking without knowing what is really going on.  Then what is the point of your reply if it is not ranting?
Mine isn't a rant or an insult.  Again, I advised you to not act according to your emotion just like you are doing it now.  It is completely opposite of what I guide you to do.
Widen your field of view.  Then you will realize our conversation is insignificant to us compare to what it is actually doing to other people.

if you knew i was a poet, then you're "isn't a rant or insult" is pretty silly, either way, you do not like me, so instead of blocking you, i'll give you some advice as well, don't talk to people you don't like claim your not ranting, i'm obviously ranting, and obviously care not no much at all about my good grammar   so, please, talk to me and send me another ridiculously long message, thank you come again.

Actually, those things I told you are all about my art works.  You can say I was explaining about my art works at the same time.  My art works deal with people's desire and inability to handle their own emotion, causing their own internal and external conflicts.  You are currently using a defense mechanism called "projection" to defend against the negative emotions you created for yourself.  That is, according to the psychiatrist George Eman Vaillant's four-level classification of defense mechanisms, a level II immature defense.  There are many ways to handle your negative emotions, but I don't recommend using it as you can see from its name (there is actually my drawing titled "Projection").  You are fighting against yourself.  I am not important to you as much as you are important to yourself.

Emotions are nature's basic guide to many animals.  It actually helps people with their decision.  But it is very basic. Thus humans, who have an ability to think logically, can find a better way to handle the situation.  You are currently not wise enough to use this to handle the situation.  If your emotions tell you something to do, you will just follow it like a slave.  You should always focus on what you are going to achieve from your action.  The achievement you are getting from your current action is to reduce the negative emotion you created for yourself.  My main achievement is to use this incident as an example to explain my art works and thoughts to viewers.  At the same time, although I knew it is a minute chance, I can guide you in the right path.

This work you liked is titled "Phosphene."  It is a phenomenon experience of seeing light without light actually entering the eye.  I compared it to people's behavior.  People believe something that they didn't experience when they desire it so much to be true.  Just like what you are doing now.  You didn't read my replies, and yet you created something that wasn't in my replies and believing it like it actually happened.

The reply that you made explains the difference between you and me.  From your advice, you implied that you obviously rant at people if you don't like those people.  I am different from you.  If you think every people are same, it is because you lack understanding.  Of course I don't like your misguided personality (and that motivates me to not become like you), but myself liking you or not has nothing to do with my decision making.  Because I can make much better decisions than my basic instinct tells me to do so. If I hate you and wish for you to become worse, isn't it better for me to not guide you and let you continue living your life like that, causing you to make poor decisions whenever you struggle with your negative emotions?

Lastly, your "you're" should be "your" instead, and your "your" should be "you're" instead.  But you will continue making mistakes, because you don't care about learning from your life experience.

Anyway, this concludes my thoughts.   I am sure some people will read our conversation and relate it to some of my drawings.

,nice, well said, i may not know the science of it, but i do know what i'm doing, and you're right i can't help it, i cared far too much about your stupid comments, but, there is no way you understand me from a half-assed comment, or my less personal poems, my humor, and my small amount of info on my profile, anyhow, stop writing me, unless you care about my poems, thank you, and it's true, i really do not care about my grammar this terrible sentence displays what i'm saying just as well.

Hello, Tom.  I used a mechanical pencil.  It applies more pressure than regular thick pencils, making it darker.  One more factor is the paper type.  You can make your pencil darker on thicker, Harder, and more textured paper.  Other than those, there is no trick.

magentalight In reply to Sheloize [2014-11-24 03:16:37 +0000 UTC]

Yes , I can imagine that paper have a significant role for the outcome

and also thickness, due to
pressure. I.e. Force/ square unit.

thanks so much for answers, ,Tom

Thank you.  You are 14 years old and are already good.
If you want to improve your art, it is best to practice realism first in my opinion.  From practicing accuracy, you will gain an ability to see small details.  The problem of drawing in the beginning level is that you notice proportions in your drawing don't look right but you can't figure out why they don't look right.  As you keep practicing realism, paying attention to details and comparing differences between your drawing and the original source, distinguishing the differences will become much easier for you later.
If you had no trouble making an art, it means you didn't learn much from it.  You learn from practicing something you are not good at doing it.  That's why trying new thing is important, too.  But don't try to make your work perfect from the start.  You want to increase the difficulty of drawing slowly.
