He's from a christianic influence (even though I assume he was based in Greece or Rome - due to Revelations mish mash)

Part in Repudiate is that because the Oblivion is being brought on by Scirolase due to the protection of Aidan - EVERYTHING is against Scirolase and Aidan (because he won't die due to Shawhir's power and absence from Fate), and Gog rallied the men from the world to come and try and kill the child.
