So I’ve been pretty quiet for a number of reasons. The main one being my dog of 15 years passed away a couple weeks ago.
The last day I spent with him was his birthday where we sat together outside (him pressed against my leg, my thumb brushing his belly) and watched the butterflies. I miss my angry, proud little dog but I’m forever grateful for the boundless love we shared for each other.
