Thank you all for entering the contest. I was so happy to see all of the amazing entries. Please Read the journal below to see the winners and a surprise for everyone who participated.MYO KURUXU WINNERS(Read the whole thing so you don't miss out on a surprise for everyone)
Oh my goodness there are so many amazing Kuruxu! The cool thing is that each Kuruxu is so different and unique from each other. I am especially happy to tell you that everyone followed the species guidelines. Yay! So now you should make more art of your Kuruxu, give them a name and an elemental affinity too.
You should share the art of your Kuruxu on SugarSugarGalaxy for everyone to see. I think I've fixed the submission glitch, so you should be able to submit to the group now.
I'm going to be posting an art prompt in SugarSugarGalaxy to inspire you in drawing your Kuruxu. I am also going to be posting a reference on the kinds of Dwellings that Kuruxu live in, to help flesh them out. If you have questions just ask. Your questions will help me develop a more deep and meaningful species.

(Update) I made a group for the Kuruxu and my other original species. Join the group, pick an elemental affinity, and sometime I'll update it with information about the world of SugarSugarGalaxy, that they live in. You can also help flesh it out by creating art and stories of you Kuruxu.

As long as you followed the species rules and I approve that your design has followed the rules, you get to claim your design as an official Kuruxu, even if you don't win the contest. Yes, you heard me, your design will be official. You should totally make lots of art of your new character.

Can I Sell My Design After the Contest?
No you can't sell it, but you can trade it.
Can I Make Lots of Kuruxu to Sell?
No, this is a closed species, and I would be deeply hurt if you were to claim the species as your own, and make adoptable out of it. This contest is unusual, because I am basically opening up the species so everyone can make one of their own. Its like a gift. Please be kind, and remember that it is hard to come up with a new species.

Follow the Species Rules!
MUST HAVE:
+ 3 pairs of eyes ranging from large to small as shown in the example above
+ 2 pairs of ears, a long and short pair
+ the face is made of smooth curved bone
+ The paws are large like a lion
+ Each paw has 4 toes. one of the toes is slightly set back further, almost like a thumb.
+ The mane covers the entire neck, no exceptions
+ The mane and the tail are covered in long hair/ the body is short haired.
+ Always has one pair of short wings (not meant for flying)
CUSTOMIZE
+ First off you can customize your kuruxu in ways not shown above.
+ The eyes in the guide are meant to define the shape of the iris.
+ You can color the eyes however you want
+ The tail is a single tail, but you can make it as short or long as you like, as long as it is covered in long fur.
+ You are not limited to the fur styles show above, be creative
- The only rules with the mane and tail fur is that it must be long, and the tail and mane must share the same style of fur.
+ You can paint the bone face. It would be like war paint.
+ Color your Kuruxu however you like
+ Add Accessories! Featheres, bows, scarves, gems, etc.

Can the ears be any length as long as one pair is shorter than the other?

Its fine if you want to make them change the length of the ears, as long as they don't become extremely long. I would say that the maximust length could be half an ear length longer than in the example. Does that make sense?

I haven't thought much about how the ears could be altered. I think as long as it resemble the species in the end, its fine to experiment. I think as long as you have 2 ears of different lengths that are more or less sticking up, it will be fine. You could make them smooth or spikey, slightly curled, fatter... I'm not sure what you have in mind.

Well, first thing you could do is make a journal so your watchers (and anyone who stalks the Journals section for contests ) will know about the contest.
And you could also ask some adopt groups to advertise it as well.
