This is Dr. Kay, explorer of worlds and seeker of knowledge for the sake of knowledge itself. I come to you today with an experience that comes once in a lifetime. In evolution, speed is power, speed is defense, speed is survival. I've seen many creatures and beings who found effective and innovative ways to use speed in the evolutionary arms race. However, the creature we just encountered, I would argue, is the physical embodiment of speed with plasma powers matched only by the upper end of Rakuari Elementals and surpassed by Tyrannosaurus Rakuari. A shark nicknamed "Lightning Chaser".

While we couldn't see him, his presence and power could be felt for miles upon miles. Tyrannosaurus Rakuari was clearly dragging a super storm with him in the area, as if nature was at work shaping it's planet once again. My colleague insisted we linger at the edge of the storm, in the Bogankraft Ocean in order catch a glimpse of one of the rarest creatures in our notes. According to Dr. Vance, the creature we were looking for was a shark that, by his and all records across multiple dimensions, has a 100% predation success rate.

I've seen many feats in nature that defy logic and clearly deserve to go in the history books, but a 100% success rate is unheard of in all my years. As I was pondering such a concept, a school of Baca Marlins came in to view, looking to feed on the local arc fish and shrimp. These intelligent and swift creatures demonstrated an astonishing display of team work and effectiveness as they insured that all in the school would get something to eat.

As we watched, we noticed one of the larger Marlins suddenly become noticeably nervous and swimming around the school frantically. The younger fish seem confused and other members seemed concerned, when a few more began to do the same thing. Dr. Vance began to focus up, as this is a behavior he remembered noted by other colleagues animals display...when Riley was on the hunt.

Riley, according to research, is the sole creature amongst all the thousands upon thousands of years of attempts who's top speed has never been able to be recorded. Only 4 explorers have ever gotten a glimpse of this shark, all others were only able to note of the damage done to larger prey he hunts. According to Dr. Vance, Riley is so fast, that some civilizations in other dimensions use his previous speed records as a measurement of time when the speed of light was to slow.

This feat alone is astonishing and down right hard to believe for anyone who has not seen the creatures we have. As I was thinking about this, something in atmosphere changed around us in the ocean. All the Baca Marlins suddenly began to glow and hold frighteningly still, as if spring loaded to move. The ocean went quiet, aside from the storm in the distance, as if someone hit the pause button in a movie. I felt ever so slight electrical charges all around the water, blink my eyes, and suddenly noticed the second largest Marlin, a 30 footer had disappeared, all except its tail...

My colleagues and I were contemplating what just happened, when a loud thunder boom sounded in the ocean. It was as if lightning had stuck the very spot the Marlin was in. As our senses were coming back from our ears ringing from the boom, we noticed that the other fish were all miles upon miles away according to our scanners. Apparently in that time I blinked, the entire pack scattered in multiple directions, and one, no three fish were caught!

We quickly swam to where the closest fish was on our scanner and were shocked to see that it appeared to be stunned, as we could see it making minor attempts to move with small twitches. Riley must have hit those 3 Marlins so hard, so fast that the impact crippled other fish in the school. We observed the fish to look for any injuries, when we saw him...for the first time in our records, we witnessed Riley swim past us towards its prey slowly.

Riley was a dark blue Azure Mako, about 25 feet in length, with light blue and purple patches all around him. His body was very streamlined, clealy packed with muscle, more then usual of a creature his size. He had several glowing parts of his body, as if lightning was channeling through him. But all of this wasn't the most astonishing part. Riley swam past us with confidence and power, glimpsing our way for an ever so brief moment. This gave Dr. Vance a chance to see one of the universes greatest wonders...The Eyes That Discovered The Galaxy.

Looking into his eyes, it was as if we were looking into the vastness of the universe itself. Stars, planets, constructs of wonder and mystery. According to my colleagues, these eyes are only gained by creatures that have explored many corners of the universe multiple times. Riley swam up to the injured fish, bit it's face and crushed it with no effort, despite this fish being a bit bigger then him as he dragged it away.

No words were spoken, but I could tell we all thought the same thing. Trying to get a top speed on this shark was pointless, for no matter how fast a prey item was, Riley would and will always be a fast as he needs to be to catch them.

Dr. Vance noted from the 4 colleagues who caught glimpes of him, as a past time, Riley will hang out in storms, jumping out of the water right where lightning strikes to get hit by them, as if charging his own body. This can serve as another food source for him, as well as other creatures many times his size.

To say that I consider myself lucky to have encountered this universal marvel would be a criminal understatement. Riley embodies why we are explorers, for the knowledge of what this amazing multiverse has in store for us. This is where we will end things for now my friends. As always, go forth and seek knowledge, and many you will get to meet a creature as amazing as Riley.
