The story follows the members of the Assassin Brotherhood under the command of the night princess, Luna. It will follow the work of the assassins Rob Royale, Octavia Melody, and Sunset Shimmer. When an assassination attempt is made on the princess’s lives during the first Lunar Celebration the darkness sleeping under Canterlot finally awakes. During the wake of their investigation Octavia and Rob discover a plot by a shadow group of noble power to overthrow the Equestrian Monarchy. All royalty are now targets. Princess Luna recruits Sunset Shimmer to the brotherhood against Princess Twilight’s wishes in order to combat the new Templars. With few leads and corruption all around them these assassins will have to work from the shadows in order to stop the new threat, but there is more to the threat than even Princess Luna is prepared for.
