It took me a couple of months to get used to, you're not going to get it right away of course. I would start out by finding the best brush to use, one that you feel comfortable with. For me the marker brush felt like the best fit for lining and sketching because it reminded me of how a pencil felt but if your looking for something more bold then I would recommend the pen brush, both are really good for lining. It's really important that you find a good brush that your comfortable using because having a familiar feel to things will help you to get more used to it. I would watch some Youtube videos on where certain things are so you know the surroundings a bit better instead of jumping into the program completely blind. You can learn a lot from speed paints too, like different techniques or finding out how to do the basics. I honestly don't know if any of that helped but Believe me when I say practice makes perfect.

Oh, thanks! It just always felt weird to me because I'm not used to drawing off screen and I would get my aim/direction off (if that makes sense)?? Plus with the programs I use, the brush always seems to lag and not even draw unless I do a few strokes until it works again, and the pen pressure fucks up a lot too. :/ I didn't have any of that with a 3DS.
