Do you remember seeing this in theaters when you were 4? i did when i was 5 when it first came out and it was 5 times i saw it and i loved it. I had the soundtrack, readalong book with cassette, coloring book, stickerbook and stuffed Basil, i also had a major crush on that hot stripper mouse Miss Kitty. Too bad it never came out on video the next year cause i did wanted it and would also ask if it will ever come to video and they didn't know, i did saw the re-issue when i was 10 2 times and loved it again including having a crush on Kitty again.
I did got the VHS for christmas back in 92 and this is one of my fave disney films

*laughs* Well I beg to differ a bit; the one in the upper right looks just like Basil, and although he looks a little young in the deerstalker shot, the lines are confident and crisp. We just have to keep practicing, that's all! ^^

No, no, no, your Disney style is perfect . You've captured him perfectly with only a few lines. The Great Mouse Detective is one of my favorite Disney movies... and I love the phrase "Bugger"... and this is just an awesome drawing, I simply must
