From my description: “We see an imperial dignitary on a veranda outside the closed doors of the imperial palace issuing a decree. Near him we can see a couple of other imperial courtiers, and several imperial guards. We don’t see the crowd, but it is going to be a large group attending, as he reads the words of the Emperor (whose own voice is of course too pure to be heard in public). The building should be elaborate, as it is the home of the Son of Heaven.”
