Hahah, I've personally never taken any art classes so I would not really know what or how to teach.
Just take your time, draw a lot, and you will improve. That's the best advice I can give you.

I've taught myself as well, that's apart of the problem. When you don't know what to practice or improve, especially wanting to do digital paintings, it's kinda hard to improve.

It's wonderful to back up a little and see the previous stage in the unicorn's magical journey. Gorgeous design on the "cathedral" observatory housing the portal, with fine opulent styling and lovely decor. The statues certainly instill a sense of solemnity and suggest caution. I'm guessing that she has just activated the ward or control in the floor, the dusty flying off after she figured out the secret of its operation, and now she must go forth into the next unknown challenge. The banisters on the stairs up to the dais is a pretty cool architectural touch too, adding to the grandeur of this enchanted place. Thanks for sharing.
