headcannon: Rion isnt really a socializer , rarely talks and keeps mostly to himself, he doesnt need sleep or rest . but one day he finds himself with his lantern broken.A mean frost troll didnt like him stepping his hooves by his cave. with a small panic he set off into nearest town to hopefully get some help. his soul was leaking out by the secon after all. when i wanders into town ponies hide. he wasnt really welcomed. he cried out for help now in full panic mode. but no one would help. except one,then suddenly a small blue pony with emerges , she immedietly sees rions panic and trots up to him. him being not very used to ponies he backs away , but hold his tail out,

he furrows his brows, " can you help me?" he asks. his voice rasp from not talking for years.

the smaller pony shows concern in her eyes " ill do what i can , but you have to follow me inside , its not safe out here. i promise you can trust me" her voice much more gentle and higher then his

hesidentaly he follows the small mare inside, for some reason he did trust her , something about her seemed more "welcoming" then the other ponies he´d encountered highin the mountains.

inside her house it looked much more different , but it was so her . books and potions filled to the brim up on the shelves, small tokens and other things littered the ground.
his thoughts were suddenly interuppted when the small mare spoke again.

" could you sit here and put your tail up on the table please"

he was hesitant but followed her command. he felt her gaze as he tried to hide his limp as he sat down. tried. the mare immidietly noticed,

" are you limping? your hurt! please let me see."

he sighed. no getting away this time.

" its fine , just a minor innjury"

the mare scoffed, " fine , but please do tell if you need me to look at that too"

curiosity took over him , " are you a doctor?"

this caught the mares attention. suddenly she seemed , nervous?
" well i guess you could call it that"

rion was about to ask about him when suddenly

" there! all done , hopefully it didnt damage your sould too much."

he was so caught up on examinating the mare he didnt even notice here fixing the shattered glass.
but he would have noticed atleast a sound. now he knew , he finally figured outwhat was so ofputting with her.

he stood up and walked over to the mare. the mare was expecting a thank you but instead? he got a bit close, too close. the mare found herself backing up until her rear hit her bookshelf. she gulped.

with a stern blick rion spoke up: " reveal yourself , i can sense you"

the mare ooked shocked , but hesitentaly she obliged. rion backed up and suddenly the small blue pony before him was submerged by an magical aura. when the light faded the said normal pony had a long tail and a halo.

rion blushed slightly , she was beautifl. far more beautiful then any mare hed seen before. not that hed seen many. he scoffed and said

" i knew you were a witch , i could feel something was of when you first looked at me"

the mare now looked ashamed, her ears fell down and she spoke:

" im sorry i shouldnt have hid it. the ponies here really dont care for special appereances" she gave a sad chuckle " do you resent me now?" she looked up at rion with big eyes

he almost blushed again but said

" of course not , you helped me . why would i ever resent someone who aided me when i was wounded"

the mare grinned. a small moment of silence fell between the two.

rion fidgeted before saying:

" i am truly grateful for your aid. but now i must return to the mountains" he smiled before giving her a small nod and walking off. when he reached the door she suddenly popped up before him. right , a witch.

" will you come back? i dont really have anyone here that wactually wants to talk to me . it was nice talking to someone who knows what its like to be different."

the stoick stallion couldn´t help but smile at her. walking past her he turned around.

" if i ever get injured again, i know where to go" the mare smiled back.

with curt nods they later parted. rion with a newly found feelings for the little mare.

he would later find himself break his lantern himself just so he can go see her. but he wont admit that.
