Background: Zhun Chao didn't have much guidance or education in his childhood, his family was poor and didn't give him much attention so he found his path on the streets where he got into a lot of fights and learned how to fight by taking some martial arts lessons from some underground fighters who were impressed by his strength and fighting talent.

Zhun decided to make use of his strength and superb skills to make money so he joined a powerful triad gang called "The Diablo" where he worked as an enforcer and debit collector, his job required him to attack and punish those who oppose the gang or didn't pay their debts.

Zhun became so brutal and wild as he stroke fear in those who face him, but one day he attacked a weapon shop owner who took a big money loan from the gang and didn't pay in time, so when the gang patience ran out, they sent Zhun to collect the debt from him. Zhun started to threaten the man and was about to hit him so the man freaked out then he pulled a gun on him and started shooting at Zhun.

One of the bullets hit and injured Zhun on his left shoulder so he went berserk and attacked the man violently. Zhun broke the man arms and then teared them out which made the poor guy bleed to death when his little kids came and saw this gruesome scene of their father murder. They started screaming and yelling at Zhun calling him a murderer and a heartless monster.

Zhun was surprised and shocked, these kids grieve, despair and their hateful eyes broke through him, now he realized what he have done and the monster he become. he became full of regret, then he decided to quit his job as a gangster and redeem himself.

He went to the Shaolin Monks Monastery in his province of Henan in China, dedicating the rest of his life to protect the people and insure the balance of mankind. In the Monastery Zhun found the spiritual guidance he needed and learned a lot of stuff including the Shaolin Monks fighting style and the use of the Mystic energy so he can make good use of his strength and skills for the benefit of mankind.

With the awakening of The Dark Sage Kelsar came a lot of disturbance and chaos especially after he got his hands on "The Dark Arts Scroll" then he killed a lot of The Shaolin Monks including Zhun friends and his master, then he turned them to "Jiangshi" which means reanimated corpse as a way to invade the country. Zhun embarked on a journey to purge his homeland from the Jiangshi and destroy Kelsar.
