And well, let's see. I don't really have a method =A= BUT I can say that I do a rough sketch first (with rudimentary shapes (like ovals, general body shape/pose)) and then I trace over it in more detail on another layer. Then I just colour away with highlights/textures, shading whatever I think needs shading at the time (lol this is digital art xD)
But the biggest thing I do that helps me improve... is stare at really, really, really good art for an unmentionable amount of time so I can snatch some of their techniques and wonder how I could replicate it~
But pfft, don't worry, you'll get there. I see potential in you, good sir, so much
