This is my first digital color job. It was doen with GIMP using a Wacom Intous 4 small tablet. Please let me know your opinions.Line art :thumb266746833: [link]

Don't be afraid to work those shadows and highlights to bring out the form. Add a layer in Gimp on top of the layer you want to shade, and color that one really extreme, then cut the opacity until it looks right, then merge the two layers. Repeat for deeper shadows, repeat for highlights. Try the dodge and burn modes to lighten or darken the image.
A good first color job. Keep at it.
