Description
1. This is my first try at drawing something since 5 years or so2. It took ages (weeks, actually, probably 30-40 hours)
3. I wanted to do a background, too, but in the end I just couldn't be bothered to do it because of 2.
Given the above, I'm actually quite happy with how it turned out.
Edit (09.04.2008): Replaced the image. Changes include: Thicker outline, different lighting, refined nostrils.

Done with the Gimp, a Logitech MX510 mouse and the (thankfully) huge Everglide Titan mousepad.

Sheesh, that's a lot of time and work... but it was worth it: it's turned out really beautifully. ^^ Great picture, and beautiful colouring job as well!
