i found this old thingy hanging out in my room; i remember drawing it the day i discovered powerpuff girls z a couple years ago. i thought it was amusing XDD
but honestly. i like anime. and ppg is something i'll love forever. who'da thunk that i'd be so disgusted when they're combined?
i gave it a million chances. i tried to watch some episodes yesterday. but it all comes down to the fact that it's just NOT ppg-esque at ALL. i like the character designs for the girls, boys and mojo, but that's about it. everything else

-the opening is horrifyingly jam-packed with tons of undistinguishable moving pictures. not to mention that god-awful music.
-the transformations are so long and dragged-out that the bad guys could take over the world before the girls even finish.
-the girls are now typical anime personalities. i haven't seen much resemblance to their american counterparts.
-mojo's incompetence is overdone and flat-out lame. it's not funny like it is in the original series. at least in ppg he's succeeded ONCE in a while. -__-
-him isn't devilish...and he doesn't send chills down my spine. WRONG
-the mayor is TALL
-ms. bellum is perfectly fine. i approve
-professor has a son and a mascot. (even if they're ADORABLE DX)
-the girls have weapons. maybe i haven't seen enough episodes, but does blossom still have ice breath?

and the thing that got to me most. the thing that ruined this show's chances of ever being good.
