^w^ Finally got around to updating Claires application sheet!! No she is not a new character; I’m just super negligent with things.

Edits:

-Changed her age to 17 as its been a year since she joined the RP group

-Changed her Digivice from an Ipod to a cell phone Final design still subject to change Tried to make it look futuristic but Iono if I like it per-say. Made the change after realizing the only reason her device was an Ipod was because I wanted one and was too cheap to buy one XD

In 1999 Claire’s mom and dad went through a series of court cases ending in a nasty divorce, leaving her father Seth as her only legal guardian. From that point on her life became a nomadic one as they moved from state to state perusing work. Claire slowly became accustomed to being alone, and occupied the time writing letters to friends she made along the way. The ones that got sent never received any replies-her address never stayed current long enough for them to reach her.

At the age of 9 Claire and Seth arrived in New York City after her father found a promising lead. It was here that Seth met a Woman named Erika Lockette, and began spending more evenings at home. With her gentle care, Seth managed to secure a job at her digital firm, and Claire made herself a lifelong friend. With Erika in their lives both members prospered, Seth found stability and Claire found the company she had never had. Within months of their meeting, Seth and Erika were wed, and for the first time Claire knew the comforts of a stationary lifestyle.

By her 11th birthday Claire had numerous friends and a loving family to call her own. It was during this time that Erika bought Claire her first locket-a heart shaped lock and key. Overjoyed, Claire insisted Erika keep the key so that they could always be apart of each other. As Erika began to cry Claire surprised her with a strong embrace, and told her mom she loved her.
Erika smiled quietly, as it was the first time Claire had ever referred to her as such…

The years that followed proved to be painful ones. By age 12 things between Seth and Erika were falling into a state of ruin. Claire was finally beginning to see her father as the work-a-holic that he was, and Erika was losing hope of him ever changing. Amidst the troubles at home, Claire’s father received a prestigious job offer in Japan, one that promised to be hazardous but rewarding. After a lengthy discussion that led the couple nowhere Erika quietly gave Seth the choice between his work and his wife…

In the light morning sun, Claire’s father packed up their things and carried Claire out to the car before she awoke. Erika watched them from within the empty home, and cried as she heard Claires voice calling out for her as they sped away.

The arrival in Japan was a glorious one. By 13 Claire’s family status had evolved from well-off to wealthy. As Seth worked longer hours he began returning home simply to rest, and Claire found herself alone again within another empty home. She eventually took to wandering; boarding strange subways and trains without thought of finding her way back home. Desperate for attention, she eventually rang up a huge bill of transactions , pouring a large lump sum into a cutting edge cellphone. When she finally returned home Seth was not around to scold her, and she quickly discovered that he had opened a separate bank account in her name. It was padded with a ludicrous amount so that she would have adequate funds while he was away. Claire was too hurt to even cry.

By 14 Claire had adjusted to life as she knew it. The school kids saw her as spoiled and rotten, and a slew of cruel nicknames were created on her behalf. She spent her days wandering through Japan and frequenting ostentatious stores with ridiculous price tags. The attendants were always surprised when she passed them the money and continued on her way. By her 15th Birthday Claire had become an introspective vagabond, walking aimlessly and traveling great lengths by foot. Seth never called her, and her fancy phone remained ever unused.

When she turned 16, Seth forgot to come home for her Birthday, prompting Claire to run farther then she had ever gone before. By nightfall she was parched and exhausted, and as it began to rain she took shelter inside the Fuji tv. Station. Once inside, her phone produced a high pitched wail, and Claire instantly snatched it hoping it was an incoming call from her father. When she discovered it was not, she returned outside and pitched the phone into the bay.

As it sank beneath the waves, a single shaft of light shot out into the sky.
Startled, she hurried out to the bay, jumping across the rocks and searching for it in the breaking tide.
With a pressing urgency, Claire thrust her hand beneath the waves uncertain what if anything she would find. The sludge beneath gave way, and an object came gently free. Claire met the item with curious eyes, seven long spires like the peaks of the sun branched out from an egg-like base sporting a cracked center.
She felt a gentle pulse wailing deep within it, and jumped when her phone rang nearby.
Snatching it from the water, she cradled the strange item In her coat before boarding the last train home.

Present Day: Claire’s father took little notice of the homes newest members. Claire expressed a new love of hats whenever her father questioned Tyks, and readily bought that Magi is just a ‘bizarre plushie’ despite Claire’s obvious disinterest in dolls.
Her classmates were far less forgiving however, and the arrival of the Digimon quickly elevated her status from strange to outright bizarre.

Personality: Claire is an introvert by circumstance and not by choice. She loves people watching more than anything else, and privately longs to form lasting relationships with others. She can come across as abrasive and distant since she lacks some basic people skills; and she is not afraid to act first and ask later. Claire typically goes contrary to a group mentality, as she is used to fending on her own, and does not feel the need to explain herself to others. She has a confident smile but it masks a glass self-esteem. Although it is a private desire, she craves acceptance above all else.

She enjoys reading even when she has no say in the literature, like when Tyks is reading while riding atop her head.

Claire is not the hugging type. She will go rigid if you attempt to show her affection. (which is exactly why you should show her some)

Digimon Partner & his History: Magimon owes a great portion of his physical appearance to Wizardmon, who he mentally aspires to become. As an egg, he was carried around the Digital world on the crown of Wizardmons staff, observing the world as he found it, and marveling at the way he left it. During Myotismons dominion over Tokyo, Wizardmons staff was lost in Odaiba bay when he nearly drowned; meaning Magi and Tyks were left there until Claire eventually found them.

- Skumi feigns death-as he already looks like a severed head XD (it doesn’t typically work be he sure has a fun time hamming it up)
Attack: Putrid Puff
-Skumi emits a pungent odor that puts off would be attackers with the horrid smell of death and decay.

Personality: Skumi is extremely excitable and likes to get into things. Having no hands doesn’t seem to stop him from wanting to experience EVERYTHING, and he often ‘purrs’ when in Claire’s company.

In-Training: Tykskullmon (Tike’skull’mon)
Attack: Astral Plane
-Oncoming attacks or objects phase through Tyskul and anyone in contact with him. This is useless as an offense but a wonderful defense as his opponent gains no ground. The only way to hit him is to distract him! (which… is remarkably easily done)

Personality: Tykskullmon is a strange mixture of Magi and Tyks core personalities. He is inquisitive, but also composed, and quiet, but also involved.

Rookie: Magimon (ma’gee’mon)
Attack: Discard.
Magi and Tyks form a tagteam with a 24 card deck! Tyks focuses on defense while Magi focuses on attack (being the more excitable of the two). Magi hurls the cards like projectile weapons while Tyks creates large sheets of them to act as a barrier. Once all 24 cards have been destroyed they are defenseless ^_^’’

Personality: Magimon and Tyks exhibit distinct personalities in this stage.
Tyks: Tyks loves to read. So much in fact he often grabs nearby books while atop Claires head! The extra weight from the books typically leaves her blinded and off balance. If Tyks notices he doesn’t seem to mind since he’s too caught up in reporting his findings to her. While in public Claire has to constantly remind him to keep his eyes shut, as it’s unnerving for people to discover her HAT is staring at them. While he tries to be obedient, Claire can always tell when he is staring.
Fact: Most if not all of Claire’s cruel nicknames originated because of Tyks. Wearing a ‘witches hat’ everywhere year round tends to make a person appear, well strange.
Magi: Keeping an eye on Magi is a very daunting task. Possessing no natural fear of new places or people, he is constantly getting lost in his quest to meet new faces. Magi has a very childlike view of the world, assuming everyone is he friend, they simply don’t know it yet.
As a Team: While they naturally drive each other crazy the two still enjoy one another’s company and often grow anxious when apart. They enjoy a playing cards (which is what inspired their combo attack) and typically banter like brothers do. Tyks likes to profess knowing everything, while Magi is content to simply wait and learn for himself. Regardless, the two of them love to be in Claire’s company.

Champion: Imagimon (Im'ah'gee'mon)
Attack: Mirror Match
Tyks captures all incoming attacks beneath his brim, and Imagi fires them back at their opponents from his staff. The attack is not amplified in any way, it merely redirects incoming projectiles back at the ones that fired them.
Attack:Rabid Ruse
Tyks plants himself on the head of smaller opponents and pretends to ‘Nom’ their brains out. Meanwhile Imagi sneaks up from behind and wacks them unconscious his staff.
-While it is absolutely ridiculous-It obviously works, or they would not continue to use it-

Personality: Imagimon is a much more composed and focused version of Magi. While he is still an excitable imp, he is far less likely to sprint off and get into trouble and prefers to have Tyks and Claire close at his side.

Overall, Imagimon still lacks any true magical prowess even in his Champion form. Despite the duo’s desire to emulate Wizardmon and his repertoire of skills, they continually come up short.
