Quick and simple practice picture, featuring the long lost Mima!
Well, I say that, but the last time I drew Mima was one year ago. For another practice picture. Huh.
Either way, I wanted to try out a (mostly) profile head, but slightly raised. The only way I could imagine this was if the character is looking down on the viewer, and the first character coming to mind for that was Mima. xD
As for the coloring, I saw a video for how to quickly color/ shade an artwork that I wanted to try out. The lighting does look cheaper this way, but it looks good for the time investment. Like, I took around 10 - 20% of my usual time for shading, which is insane.
I might adopt this shading style for my comics (once I finally get back to them), though I still have to keep practicing to make this look better.
