I sit in front of my computer,
Wondering and waiting,
As if I can just hear your voice,
Trying to reach out towards me.

Your face, it reflects itself,
Within my eyes, I see your pain,
Inside my soul, I feel your anguish,
Something tells me, you're not there.

I try to think of the happy times,
Knowing that they are not always forever,
Wanting to feel you right next to me again,
I wonder, what has happened.

The phone rings, I cannot bare,
I knew this day would come,
Picking it up, I hear the voice of a friend,
And sigh, I was worried for nothing.

But then, I hear the shaking in his voice,
"I'm sorry..." Was all I could hear,
As I collapse to my knees, balling,
It's just as I feared, you're gone.

I drop the phone and curl up,
Not wanting to hear the rest of the messege.

"I'm Sorry, Dai, but he doesn't love you...."
I didn't hear the words, but I knew he was gone.
