Letting the wind caress my fur,
The clouds in the sky pass by,
While I just lay here, thinking.

Love, I wonder, what does it mean?

As are my reflexes,
But my thoughts,

I look at the clouds, spotting one,
It looks just like him, and I smile,

I lift my paw, and see the lotus,

Others who have done that,
They were rejected,
So what is with this one?
Why is he so different.

The blueness in the sky,

As the sun starts to set,
One more day gone to thinking.

I chuckle to myself, as I hold the lotus,
Not able to crush it, like I had to others,
All I can think about is this one,
The one who gave me a reason.

I sit up, just in time,
Seeing the beautiful crimson,
Of the setting sun,
Making me still think of the one.

Twilight is before my eyes,
The same sensation I get,
When I look into the eyes of the one,
I cannot shake the one.
