Moonlight, though pale and wavering,
Seems to just illuminate you.
An aura that basks the beauty about it,
Of everything that you ever do.

Those words trapped on my lips,
Forever kept within their prison.
They wish for you to hear them,
As we stare at the sun rising.

But they won't escape,
Not even for a moment.
As I just stand there,
Lost in the vehemence.

Yet within my fingers,
Those words sound out.
On each of the red petals,
