Description
I hear the birds chirping above me,As I just think of you once again.
Yearning for the world to finally see,
What it has forsaken to gain.
A single tear drops from my face,
Letting me think of just you.
A smile crosses my face,
Thinking of all that you do.
On the ground, a seedling sprouts,
As time goes by.
Sending my message of proud,
Going through the sky.
I wonder if it reaches you,
Hoping that it makes a smile.
Wishing I could just be with you,
Knowing it cannot happen for a while.
The lone hummingbird flies near,
As I watch it, I smile more.
It all becomes so clear,
So much more for me to adore.
A breeze of wind clears my hair,
I bring my head into it.
Just to feel you right here,
To hold each and every bit.
“I miss you so,
Please come back to me.
I never wanted you to go.”
I say as I watch the sea.
Tides reel in, and ebb out,
Letting the sands dance about.
Another seedling has to sprout,
As I think what this is all about.
Tasting the sweetness of the air,
All around me as I think of you.
I let the wind blow my hair,
Wanting to be there in, with you.
The birds carry my plea,
As I watch the sea.
The tides bring my love,
Along with the doves.
The wind sends my hope,
As it blows along the slope.
The trees show my care,
As they grow without dare.
Nature surrounds you with me,
Wanting to show you what it sees.
