Yummy : )I've just really wanted to paint a yellow grublike alien for awhile.
I pictured it an 8 ft tall sentient alien being with a rather harsh outer appearance.
Only thing is it looks rather smaller than that, oh well!

A little different from what I'm used to seeing of you, but refreshingly interesting! Especially love the colouration and the feel of its skin; you nailed down the texture of it pretty amazingly.

This is excellent, Kiwi! Looks real professional. I'd love to see more critters like these! I love it. You're very skilled with drawing your own creature and animal designs. The painting is very beautiful here, and the marks on its skin, like by the tail-area. It does look like a cute small animal to me though ^^ I agree with the poster who said adding some atmospheric fog in the background could help give it that sense of scale. Or you could add a little person to show the scale too.

Looking good. I think the way to make it look larger would be to have it fade out in the distance (just a little). The larger an object is, the more it will fade away as it recedes. But I'm loving the colors and contrast, and the detail is beautiful. Epic work!
