I JUST REALISED AFTER HAVING SUBMITTING THIS THAT FULL VIEWING THE IMAGE SHOWS ITS HIGHER QUALITY. FULL VIEW IT......DO IT NOW
So...
Here is Mamimi from FLCL and Osaka from Azumanga Daioh!
I decided to draw them both in the same picture, seeing as they're both of my favourites from that series, also, I found out that Kasuga Ayumu (Osaka) is one of ~Hysteria98 's favourites from Azumanga Daioh! (which is his favourite manga series), so I'll dedicate the Osaka side of the drawing to him as a late birthday present and such. (God, I'm so stingy and half assed with things, I feel terrible)
Anywho, I drew this in Corel Painter X and abused the watercolour tools, brushes and layers like crazy and then added a somewhat POP! manga style background (kind of). The font used is called 'Sundays Is Boring' and I have fallen utterly in love with it.
I love how this picture has come out exactly how I wanted.

Not in the slightest. It's just how it turned out~. I'd say the style is more like Ueda Hajime's~.
Mamimi Samejima is from an Anime series called 'FLCL' (it's really good, even the Manga that came out after the Anime) and Osaka is from 'Azumanga Daioh', a really funny Anime and Manga series.

That font does make a very pretty background, and I love the background colours. I love the way you've coloured the eyes as well.

I love that font. The best part about it is that it was free and I thought the pink and the blue would go well together. : D
