Well... Prost - 4 championships; Vettel - 4 championships; Fangio - 5 championships; Hamilton - 5 championships; Schumacher - 7 championships? Senna - 3 championships... Admittedly Senna won his 3 championships against some very tough competition and . Hamilton would most likely have 6 titles and be working toward number 7 this season if Rosberg hadn't put them both out of the race in Spain and then also suffering an engine failure while leading at Malaysia back in 2016. Similarly, Senna would have had 4 championships if he had not been, I think improperly, disqualified from the entire season in 1989 due to his dust-up with FIA insider Prost. In all probability, Senna would have won additional titles. Unfortunately, we will never know. There are somethings we can say for sure... Ayrton Senna was a kind and thoughtful young man who, though flawed as we all are, sought to have a positive impact on every thing he touched. He was a talented and passionate driver who didn't race for a paycheck but because he loved it.
