Yay me! I actually was able to finish a somewhat decent Raphril picture this week. It'll probably the only one I submit for awhile considering how busy my life has been. School starting on Monday isn't helping me either. *groans* Aw well, such is life. I'll be trying hard to crank out some more work for y'all.
Carrying on -- I decided to draw them older here, probably early to mid twenties and living together. I just LOVE the idea of April being awoken by Raph nuzzling his face against hers. Her sleepily opening her eyes as his arms tightening around her. The sunlight coming through the curtains and warming her lightly freckled skin. Her heart warming at the sight of his eyes cracking open to meet hers. Getting to wake up to him every morning -- Knowing how much they've been through. Through the turmoil and pain --the seemingly endless supply of bad luck -- and yet -- how it all worked out perfectly in the end. ... Even through everything and just how freakin' long it took for her to realize how much he meant to her -- how she loved this big lug and how she could never imagine her life without him. She realized she'd do it all again in a heartbeat because it was all soooo worth it.
