Full view, yes?"Fox spirits, eh? They're little tricksters that enjoy nothing more then playing jokes on unsuspecting travellers..."
The size of this picture is slightly smaller then my other pics but I didn't cheap out on the details, fortunately xD.
I've been finding it difficult to finish pictures now. I lack the motivation to continue. Actually, I believe I have about five half-finished works which will never be completed. This time I decided to stick this one out. Looking back, I'm happy that I did
.I wanted place more emphasis on the background this time, specifically water. Although the plan I sketched up for this pic was meant to be a fox lounging at a pond, I felt it would be better set in the ocean. Also, I've never attempted little waves before. It's good to have a go, eh?
For my future works (if any at my speed
), I'll try to focus on detailed backgrounds. *Is half-assed* lol.Btw, if it hasn't passed for you already (has for me), Merry Christmas! I hope you're day will be a good one!

Really like the green and brownish colors you used for the design! They are a bit pale, just like what you would expect to see in the reality.
I also like the different plants surrounding the creature too. Looks like if it is going to use one of them for its tricks...

as always, the detail rocks socks. i love the feathers mixed in with the fur on the rump, and the muted colors create a nice, dreamy look. the little island looks extremely cool, especially with the shrooms thrown in. the waves don't look so much like waves as they do light filtering through water to the ocean floor below, but the look is still very effective and extremely well done for a "first attempt." besides, waves up close are a serious pain in the ass to do.

Sorry for the late reply. I thought I needed to get back on you on this one xD.
I aimed first for a pond scene, and referenced real pond pictures. The water was too dark and flat for my picture so I decided on a semi-realistic, light blue water to match my "cute" drawing style. Thankyou for pointing out the flaw in my artwork

I really love the attention to detail with this one! <333 The colors you chose compliment each other very well, and I adore the pose and the way you drew her. The bg on this masterpiece is beautiful. I love the little add-ons on the island, mostly the 'shrooms. *Shot'd* The water couldn't be any better, if you ask me. ^^
I've been like that lately. :\ Like, I'll have the motivation to draw my image, but for some odd reason, I just dont want to do anything digitally. I'll ink it and.... then let the pic rot. I have about 12 unfinished works that I'll probably never finish. DDD:

Yeah, I totally understand what you're coming from. At the moment I have this Pokemon picture with a dragonite I drew. I didn't know how to go about to shade it. After over an hour, I just stopped. I guess people lose interest over time =/.

Yeah it stinks. My inspiration comes and goes as it pleases as well, and I wish it'd stay long enough for me to finish at least one picture. But nooooo. If it wants to go the the park, my inspiration goes to the park, and I am left behind without the will to work on anything. It's horrible really, cuz sometimes I really would like it's company every once and a while. (No, I'm not on anything XD)
