For the people who shut me out of their life after I let them in mine. It hurts and I'm angry.In other news, this is the first piece I have sort of embraced painting and let go of the need for everything to look like a photo. Old habits die hard.

Wow. I do know, of course, what this artwork is about that I haven't shared directly and won't. But light in the sense of knowing people better is pretty much on target. It's also a bit of, the party is going on inside and don't you wish you were there. But I think there's more to it than that.

The other question of course, is where is the light coming from? We can see behind the door is a forest which is dark. So where is the light from, hmmm?
