First of all, HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND SAMHAIN!!! WHOO!!!

I wanted to do more for one of my favorite holidays, but sadly, various factors have kept me from doing much. First and foremost is the whole COVID situation. Another issues is the simple fact that I'm sick right now (slowly getting better), and the final issue comes int he form of a fairly large IRL change that is, quite frankly, all for the better in my opinion. It's a bit stressful, but well worth it.

Now! You may notice the watermark and the fact that this pic is BEYOND anything I could ever dream of creating, and that's because this is a commission piece of my OC, Samhain - of which I have permission from NixieDrakos to post on my own DA gallery.

I REPEAT. I have full permission from NixieDrakos to post this art she created for me as a commission, here on my deviantART gallery. This is not theft, but fully permitted reposting of a commission I paid for and asked from the artist, NixieDrakos . PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING ANY ASSUMPTIONS.

Samhain is an RotG OC of mine from many, many years ago, and had in fact preceded Hal, though Hal was designed long before Samhain was. I have been working on his and Hal's profiles and their redesigns for literal years now, and Samhain's has finally come to fruition! Granted, during the whole process, I just could not settle on a good drawing of Samhain, and it finally came to a point where I said, "fuck it", and asked NixieDrakos for a commission of him, with provided references and descriptions. Needless to say, she wne taboltuely above and beyond my expectations.

Guys, I am SO happy with how Samhain's redesign came out, you all have absolutely NO idea how long I have been trying to do this man justice, but I have not been able to due to a lack of artistic talent. NixieDrakos gave me the opportunity to have him drawn out in a way that was utterly perfect for my baby, and he is now DONE.

His redesign features some new horns and a lovely set of butterfly-like wings, as well as many new attributes and abilities you can find in his profile!

I'm hoping to have Hal's redesign done too, and hopefully I'll be able to draw him myself! But, for now, here is my baby, Samhain! And on his holiday too no less!
