Just felt like drawing a simple pic of Bellona, the Shield of Rome.
Unlike the heroes of the Sentinel Corps in the US, Bellona has actual authority within the ranks of both law enforcement and the military, as opposed to the Sentinels who, while beloved by the citizens of Sapphire City, are still technically vigilantes. With this authority, Bellona is able to conduct legal raids on suspected criminal activity without the need of a warrant. Normally, the Guardia (Imperial Police Force) try to accompany and assist her in these raids, but Bellona insists that she either handle any opposition alone, or at the very least be the first one to breach an enemy building, unwilling to endanger any imperial officer's lives in the ensuing firefight. Whether they are insurgents or petty criminals, Bellona will always give them one chance to lay down their arms and surrender peacefully, before she would have to resort to force. Most of the time, criminals take her offer, but those that don't, they find out really quickly just how outmatched they really are.
