Indeed! I would imagine that Severus, especially toward the end, would have been prepared for ANYTHING. I know that I would have, and I'm not a double agent (just incredibly anal retentive.) He most certainly would have had some blood replenisher, and he already invented a spell for closing wounds -- he used it on Draco, forgodssake! Plus, of course, some sort of potion to give him the strength he needed, even if only to get a short distance away to safety, to nurse his wounds. Obviously, my Muse was not so well prepared. But in other Universes...
