Evett in the first stages of transformation.He's no vampire, not in the least. You wouldn't want to be consumed by him for he never leaves a victim alive. His fangs have two types of deadly poison, much like a spider, and they are incrediably painful to experience. Also, he won't just drink her blood, he'll eat some of her organs and steal her soul as well. He doesn't need the blood to sustain his life or anything, he just drinks it because he enjoys the taste of blood. He's not "undead" either, nor is he allergic to the sun or garlic or any of those other vampire stereotypes. That's a demon for you.

There a few minor, subtle mistakes, but for the most part I really like how this turned out. I actually drew it a few weeks ago and it sat on the table without being finished until I finally got tired of it staring me in the face, so I finished it.
His horns keep changing; I can't figure out how I want them. Originally, they were curly like a rams horns, but it's really hard to draw them that way.
Also, he should have his wings out, but with this angle I couldn't figure out how they should go, so I left them out. *shrugs* Maybe next time I'll be able to draw them in.

Hmm I havent seen this one. It caught my eye while viewing your newest deviation. It looks great, must have been so hard to do. Very good on the expression. Only thing I would suggest is to lessen the lines for the tears.

XDĀ This one wasn't too difficult; it was one of those rare sketches i have where I am able to just draw it without fussing with it too much.Ā I wanted to draw his wings too, but I couldn't position them in a way that wouldn't completely cover the girl, which is why there's lines on his back.Ā Yeah, the tears could be better... Her face could be a little better as well, but maybe one day I'll redraw it, or something like it. :3Ā

Hee, you know how much I enjoy horrible blood scenes and all that jazz, because we're both probably crazy. It's all good. I like his eyes as well, they kind of give you a jump/have a more demonic feel. And although you may have gotten the idea from Akaito, I wouldn't feel bad about that, I remember reading a fairly good article a little while ago called, "How to Steal Like an Artist" [link] Of course you don't want to go around stealing too many specific things, but as you look around you, you notice ideas and elements that you really enjoy. I fully believe that no idea is completely original, just presented in a new way. While Akaito does have similar demonic eyes, he's definitely not the first to have them. Anyways, read that article, it says things better than I can, but in short, yeah, don't feel like you have to be ashamed every time one of your ideas are similar or inspired by someone else. That's just how an artist/writer/creator, grows.
(also the cute heart on his little ear piece makes me smile given the situation)

Blood leaves such an impact on a sketch, that it's hard not to like it or drawing it! The drama and all that fun stuff just catches the eye!
I read that blog you sent me and I loved it! He's totally right about all that stuff and now I don't feel so bad about using ideas here and there! ^^ I won't be as uptight about people using my ideas as well. Nothing IS original! =.= My art is pretty bland as is... "desu" I think you guys said? I don't remember... I think I'll start working some of my old style back into it. That might help my muse as well!

Anyway, my actual review of things. It looks pretty good, but Evett seems to lose his face traits. Though I knew that was going to happen anyway, because he's a demon in all, but still. Everything looks good, all nice in detail.

Evett's face still looks like Evett's face, it's just a little darkened is all... The angle changes it slightly too. However, when he does transform like this, his face and head do change a bit, eventually they change completely.
Thank you! :3 I think it's one of my better sketches, but it does need more spice... Just dunno what yet. Shading probably would do it some good, but I think it's missing something else.
