I finally got a photo shoot with my Zelda cosplay~ The fantastic *Floatyman took the photos of me, Big thanks to him ^_^This is the first of a series that I will gradually post up. I don't like spamming my dA account with photos. I do most of the spamming at cosplay.com sooo yeah only a few will get put up here the rest will be put in there. I will more then likely do a collage of a few photos and do some photoshop to jazz it up a bit.

Thanks, but I adore your cosplay! I've still got so much to learn (my clay kept snapping, and part of my costume wasn't even wearable, so it stayed behind until I can get a wig for it).

What my costume hides is the pain of wearing it hahah the crown weighed of lead because it was made of clay so it was incredibly painful to wear lol the boots I wore were beyond pain itself lol and the wig added to the weight on my head. So my costume had its flaws

Ugh... I hear you! My headpiece was also of clay, and I had to make it two pieces cause it kept breaking as one. I managed to find a way to make some parts less weighty, but that made them a little more fragile (thinner... = less sculpey but ... yeah... haha). I think I should have started with an easier cosplay... like Malon... no headpiece, haha. But I wanna do all the tough ones (Midna, Ruto, Zelda, Sheik, Nabooru). I think we cosplayers are kinda crazy... but in a good way!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the harp-like design onto the bottom of the dress? It almost looks like it was sewn on!

The designs at the bottom were all hand embroidered with a machine. [So I traced around a pattern with just zigzag stitch. Very sore on the wrists heheh]

The shoulder armour is craft foam, the rest is clay.

The gloves couldn't be too tight because the fabric had zero elasticity so I wouldn't of been able to get the gloves on if they were tighter =/

you know what you could have done then? sewn elastic to the inner side so that it streched when you had to put them in and then tighten up again

Yeah it's a great place for photos~ I've always been wanting a photo shoot there, though at the time they had some construction things happening. So it was tricky to get shots that didn't have random things in the background.

Yeah, they're doing lots of renovations right now, plus it's the holidays now. So it's mainly the summer students taking the brunt of the noise now. xD
I'll be taking photos there next week, but for an entirely different reason. LMAO.
