This is for . The task was to take a superhero and design either a wearable outfit from their costume or another suit for your own superhero inspired by the original superhero.I'm really surprised that I'm the first one to enter. It's such an awesome contest idea.
I decided to design a couture dress based on Harley Quinn. I know it's kind of hard to tell, because she's moving, but if she was standing still the skirt would fall around her and look a little more 'wearable.' I kept the headdress on her so that you could very easily tell who she was. I wouldn't presume you'd actually wear the jester hat with the dress. It was just part of my own personal preference.

this is cute. Love the pose. i think w/o the hat majority of the people(well US anyway) could tell who the character was. Harley is one of my favs and almost chose her but wanted to go with a less popular character.
