"Common Annie, you can’t keep ignoring me!” The older Prince groaned, levitating after his elegant younger cousin. “It’s like all you do these days is frolic during the night with those blue flowers of yours,” He exclaimed throwing his paws in the air in defiance. “Granted they are dazzling to admire from a quick glance, but I only wish to gain your attention and maybe chat a bit!” His usually cheery tone shifted to that of a muted one, hinting a lingering case of exhaustion. “Ya’ know how we did when we were younger.”

"Heliacal please, we’re not 5."

He shrugged and floated above her in a playful manner. "Annie you should know by now that age as nothing to do with my lust for attention~"

She rolled her eyes but kept walking ahead of him. "You're weird."

"From you I'll take that as a compliment." He spoke with a soft snickering purr. His slender body coiled around her like a python ceasing her evening walk. Gravity seemed to take a hold of him for he sank down upon her. His head rested lightly on top of hers like it had so many years ago when they had been younger.

Purring quietly Heliacal’s paws began to comb through her long nightly-colored mane, "You spend too much time up here Annie, everyone misses talking with you daily… I miss talking with you."

She huffed, faking a pout. "Heliacal. Stop calling me Annie."

A sly grin grew upon her cousin’s lips as he continued playing with her mane. “Old habits die hard ya’ know-Anna banana bow Bana~!” He cooed gently into her ear. “I may just consider it if ya’ use the magic words~”

Andromeda huffed again, puffing her cheeks out slightly and exposing her lower lip in a form of protest. She wasn’t going to give into his mischievous ways.

It didn't take long for Heliacal to notice her pouting routine. He chuckled lightly and began braiding her mane. "Before you were even born- little miss-missy, I've been calling you Annie. Calling you by another name would be,” He paused for moment, “I guess foreign to me." He gave a light sigh, "Kinda’ miss it when you and the girls kept calling me Mischief." He smiled faintly at the distant memory as he finished up the rest of her braid.

"I still do; you just don't hear it." She quietly remarked.

"Look at you," He chimed lifting his head up to look down at her. "You've become quite the mischievous one, haven't you?"

"Maybe, just maaaaybe~." She cooed playfully.

An eyebrow of his raised with a toothy grin shortly following it. "Are you confessing to talking behind my back? My goodness I thought I knew you." He teased, mischief twinkling in his eyes like starlight.

A sly smile sprouted upon her face, "Only a little bit~ I learned from the best you know."

"Oooooooo~" He practically squealed, "You are turning to the mischievous side- HA I knew it!!"

This caused her to laugh softly, shaking her head gently from side to side. “I’m afraid that’s your talent.”

"Well I don’t mind sharing the title!" He purred aloud laying his head back down on top of hers. "Soooo~ What'cha been up to then Miss-Mischief?"

"Not much, I’ve only been talking to the flowers."

His ears rose in interest, "How does the All Mighty Flower respond, with prosperity and wisdom I presume- or do they share their secret knowledge of a Thorn kingdom with you?"

A glimmer shined within her own cloudy eyes as she turned her head to the side to “look” up in his general direction. “Now that’s private information."

It now seemed that it was his turn pout. "Didn't know Flowers held such enclosed conversations among themselves. "

"I know many things Heliacal,” She smiled faintly and gazed ahead, “You could too if you took the time to listen. With your eyes you can see a wide assortment of things, but you never take the time to stop and truly listen to everything.” She paused briefly before continuing, “There are voices all around us, but there are those you can only notice with complete silence."

The prince sat up an elongated his stiff muscles in an upper bodied stretch, releasing a minor groan in the process. “If all I have to do is take the time to listen to these beautiful petaled beings to gain a new insight on them, then why not?" He smiled genially down at her, “How shall I start oh mighty teacher?”

"Just be silent and listen. You'll hear them." She spoke, exhaling her breath and closing her eyes.

Heliacal sat back and closed his eyes. "Hmmm..." He hummed impatiently after a handful of minutes, before tilting his head for a chance he’d hear anything. "I don't think I'm getting anything. "

Andromeda remained in her position; her ears tilted forward towards the glowing flowers. "Relax and stay quiet."

He rolled his eyes again and snickered quietly, "I followed your instructions exactly,” He tallied two of his fingers in the air as he called them off. “Relaxing- and staying quiet. "

"Mmm… and you’re doing such a remarkable job at it."

He huffed noticing her sarcasm, "Okay- okay. I at least was attempting to relax and be 'somewhat' quiet. Even if it was for a short bit."

"mmmm-hmm."

"But you should know that silence is practically impossible for being as spectacular as myself~!" He gloated batting his eyes prettily at her. “My voice is one that must be heard~!”

"Whatever."

He couldn’t stop himself from grinning, “oh common Annnnnnnnie,” He wrapped his front paws around her from behind in rather a warm hug. “I’m sure even someone as awesome as I has the ability to be learn from someone as amazingly talented as my little cousin~”

"Flattery will get you nowhere and you know that." She huffed back, but excepted his hug nonetheless.

"Maybe so, but I know you love me just the same~" He practically purred in her ears again before releasing her from his loving embrace.

"Yeah, yeah." She sighed blowing a few strands of her mane away from her face.

"Well I'm ready for round two-“ He turned and fixed his gaze on the flowers in front of both them before grinning ear to ear. “That is, if you're willing to teach me~"

A warm smiled crossed her lips, “Only if you quit with the nickname, Mischief~”

just a heads up I have not healed. I'm just practicing how i can draw with my fingers with both hands on the screen of my surface pro for the time being- becasue I can't stand not trying something *hence the splochiness up above.* QuQ it's a start. My writtings getting better with my left hand too!

but It's been 4 months since I got injured. And I had the huge pain spike within my nerves 2 months ago that I finally got to see a specalist today.

aaaaaaaand he didn't give me good news. Basically he told me I'll be lucky to get back to normal in 3 months, and if I'm not it could take me 9 months to a couple years to be able to reuse my hand/wrist without pain. *Yayyyyyy*

So art may be sparce when appearing once I try to hone it in more. But I wanted to bring this story between Heliacal and Annie to life~!

Happened to be skimming through my folders and fell upon this rp Grimoire and I did back in 2015 when we first created Secrets-Of-Everfree to flush out these cousins. I revised it a bit from the orginal and Thought I'd give you guys some content to show I'm alive QUQ. That and it's an adorable reaction between these it needed to be shown.
