First I'd scream with joy that there's an adorable baby duck. And then I'd scream with terror either because its falling down to its death or it's trying to attack me. .__.

xD it reminds me something... One day I've seen some report on tv about the fauna of London (turtles, pelicanos, scorpions, budgies, etc...) and it showed a duck which made its nest on... the balcony of a building. Just over some kind of lake. After I saw the babies hatch, I wondered "how will they reach the water ?" and then I saw how : the babies just threw themselves from the balcony to reach the water, and I saw them falling, and falling.... I just screamed with terror xD "They're gonna kill themseeeelves !!!". And they finally survived.... except one, which was eaten by a turtle. In London. It was traumatizing.
