Out of all the chesspieces I've done, I think this is my favorite.
He was hard to make, but I think it was worth it. 
I even made his sword.He's about 2-3 inches high and is made of air dry clay. The outfit is made of black mulberry paper, black tape, and a seed bead.

You've really captured the essentialness of Cloud Hair here. I even used it as a reference. XD
It's a pity some of the ends got a little raw... especially because of that and the fact that the craft of everything else on the figure is so good, too. So cute.

I think this is awesome (as are all your chess peices but have you decided on the order they are on the board. I think this peice would be ace as a castle(rook)

Hahah, nice idea. I see chess boards based on many different movies and shows ( like the Star Wars and The Simpsons ones I saw once ) But I bet a Final Fantasy chess set would do a killing on the market !

I make a lot of these, but I never thought to put them on DA. I went to A-Con/Kon (unsure?!?) in New York last year and sold about 45 of my individually crafted Kingdom Hearts characters. It was awesome! They were like...$3 and I bought a stand for the convention for about $40 bucks.
(*only gets $15 from parents a week for chores* It adds up, in about 3 weeks, I had 45 dollars to buy a spot to sell there.)
Anyway, my stand looked horrible. I had a white table cloth with little keyblades and hearts ( xD What can I say? ) on it, and set up my Cloud doll and Saix doll. I had a little boombox, so I played Gackt + KH2 song (umm...Sanctuary?) on it. It was loud, and people were talking a lot at the convention, but my Gackt was loud enough to have people come over and BUYYY.
All I had was my Tinkerbell jewelry box (to hold the money), my Cloud and Saix dolls, my table cloth, my Gackt, and the little clay Enix characters I was selling.
It was VERY unofficial. People came by, picked up a figurine, dropped 3 dollars in my box, took a pink scrap of paper (my premade "receits") and went their ways. It was a sight to see!
People came over and danced to my Gackt. xD It was hilarious! Then, while they were there, they decided they might aswell by one of my poorly-crafted (just being modest) clay people.
The best part was my receits. The owner of the property said that we had to have receits for defective merchandise. It was last minute, so my mom drove me to Walgreen's (drugstore) and we bought a pack of contruction paper. We ripped a couple pink sheets into little pieces, and showed it to the owner.
I was like, "HERE, MAN! THESE ARE THE RECEITS!" His daughter was nice, tho, and she was coloring and *arting things* (maybe crafting was a better word*, and she had a few hole punchers (heart and diamond shaped), so she made little heart receits for us. She was like, "Look, daddy! Kingdom HEARTS! Heheh!" She was so adorable....7 years old and she knew what a keyblade was! <333
