Im DOoooooooOOooommmed!So i have been eyeing off the amazingness that are Tokotas since they first started appearing in my inbox. However, i have had too much on, not enough time and didn't really want to rush into anything and then have no desire to continue, BUT, the more i saw them and the more i read about them and how the group and RP system is structured the more i was excited and interested in getting into them. I still have a lot of things to do, and i have not forgotten any of it! But, i had a lot of fun sketching these and i have decided im not going to wallow in guilt for doing things i am actually inspired to draw.
SO, when the amazingly awesome EarthboundEquinox offered me this girl i fell in love. Halfmanes are right up there with the Wolverines in the colouring and appearances i was fascinated by, and Kaniq and her fabulous Mohawk just dug in and refused to leave.
Long story short: I HAS TOKOTA!!!!!
So to accompany her i had to create a handler, and he sprang up with far too much ease. You will be seeing more of this duo soon! I am going to just potter around with these two for now, however once i get them out and about i would love to organise some RP's or collabs to get them meeting people. Both have not been near others much at all so it should be some fun hostile and awkward encounters!

Oh and LOOK a BG i actually tried on! thank goodness for references or i would have been drawing a random blob. (i.e. the orca)

there are many, but i can muddle my way through most with references XD it just takes a while to make them stop looking like deformed horses/dogs.

Oh wow, these two are awesome! I think you draw canine(ish) creatures even better than ever. I love Kaniq's face with all the line detail around her mouth and nose, and all the fluff too. And those paws! 
P.S. I just poked my nose into dA and couldn't resist a closer look at this, but I feel bad for missing everything else you've done lately. Sometime I will treat myself to seeing it all!

XD YAY!!!!!! i actually drew canines far more often digitally before i even tried horses again..... so its kinda nice to get back to them a bit, though with the ursine features it becomes even more fun!

XD haha well to me they are both beautiful but incredibly powerful. Lots of people have got the height right, my girl just happens to be rather tall and her handler rather short so it shows that difference off even more.

A few people have it down too, but my pair just has a bitt more height difference than most Tokos and their handlers so its more obvious!
