My Imara redesign! She looks just like her mother Kula and her father--one of the rogues Scar let in to counterbalance the hyenas during his reign of terror. I have a headcanon that Scar would never just play one side in case they turned against him, so he let in a band of rogue females (Zira's outsiders), the hyenas, and a group of rogue males that swore loyalty to him. This had the added bonus of having more lions to potentially sire Scar's perfect heir--he wasn't too terribly particular about who the father was (although he did have a preference for a cub sired by him or his boytoy), as he just wanted a cub made in his image. Imara is the result of one of those earlier failed attempts at the perfect heir.
