Well, even with this long mostly-dry spell of art, the gears in my head have at least kept turning a little all this time. For years I've thought about how similar a lot of the character archetypes in Gurren Lagann were to those of the various Sonic canons, and it got me thinking "Hey, what if those were combined?...."

As time went on, it became less of a simple "Gurren Lagann, but with Sonic" story and more of a GL-inspired thing that acts as a massive crossover between just about all things Sonic. If this thing takes off and reaches completion, it -will- have shout-outs to just about every take on the blue blur's adventures. While there will be some obvious plot elements lifted from the best giant robot show ever, I do want to have some fun with it, so while you can probably guess where some of this is going, I do want to at least pretend I can be creative. I don't really have much reason for this outside of "Man, wouldn't it be fucking awesome to see ___ do this or fight ___?!"

So yeah, I'm not going to make any promises as I've always been terrible with deadlines, but this is definitely on the "I want to complete" pile.
